Natasha of Candy Pop chooses her favourite items in the Old Fire Station Shop

Natasha is a photographer, blogger and collector of old things based in Cowley, Oxford.  Her blog Candy Pop is the place where she shares photographs of her home, her adventures and some of the things she finds along the way.  We recently asked Natasha to pick her favourite items in the Old Fire Station shop and here is what she has selected.  Over to you Natasha.

I'm a fan of vintage and handmade so I don't usually shop on the high street. If I'm looking for a unique gift, an unusual card or a little treat for myself, the Old Fire Station shop is one of the places I love to visit. Here are a few of my favourite items from the shop.

Purple floral bag by Loulabelle

My first pick is this lovely floral make-up bag by Loulabelle. I have a passion for vintage floral prints so it was an easy choice. It also doubles up as a stylish clutch bag on an evening out.

Bambi Cushion by Beci Callow

Anyone who visits my blog will know I'm a total deer fanatic, so this cute Bambi cushion melted my heart. Isn’t he the cutest little thing? I just had to give him a home!

Pink floral bag by Loulabelle

My third pick is this gorgeous pink make-up bag.  It's the perfect size for my handbag, and it's pink - what is there not to love?

Circus Triangles Cushion by Butterscotch and Beesting

This stylish design reminds me of a Bauhaus print. I love the fresh colours and it sits perfectly on my Eames chair, enough to brighten up any grey day.

Necklace by Layla Amber

This pretty necklace looks like some of the chintz prints throughout my home. There is something very charming about the flowers and colours, it's the perfect length and it looks amazing with a black top.

Oxford bikes mug

And finally the Oxford bikes mug. If you follow Candy Pop (@candypopimages) on Instagram you will know I have a thing for bicycles, so you won’t be surprised by my final pick. And you really can't have too many mugs - especially mugs with bikes on!

  1. Fabulous picks! I could easily spend a fortune at the Old Fire Station Shop....I've already re-homed a few owls! And I completely agree you can never have too many mugs :)
