Shop at the Old Fire Station is stocked with a treasure trove of UK based artists, makers and designers.
We support early to mid-career artists and makers, showing their work alongside more established practitioners. We also develop partnerships with several local education establishments to provide retail opportunities for emerging makers and work with Crisis Skylight to provide training opportunities for homeless people within the arts.
We're open Tuesday – Saturday, 11 - 6.
The old fashioned glamour and romance of Victoria Borondo's designs
I'm delighted to have the chance to stock the unique and beautiful bags, purses and corsages, handmade in Oxford by Victoria Borondo, from November. Victoria works with reclaimed fabrics such as Victorian lace, antique buttons and silk scarves .'The faded colours and worn edges add to the texture and character of my designs, making each piece unique.'
The inspiration for Victoria's designs come from a variety of places , a trip to a flea market, a pattern on a teacup or a 1920’s dress - creating a fantastic collection of accessories for you to enjoy.
Find out more about Victoria on her blog here, or wait until November and come and see her adornments in real life!
